課堂經歷
Sessions always accepting new players to try out the group to see if its a good fit. *This campaign deals with devils, demons, hell, and all sorts of terrible monsters. While our DMs always target age appropriate descriptions, parental discretion advised with the subject matter. Similar to Baldur's Gate 3. * PREREQUISITES: We strongly recommend completing one of our 103-105 courses before joining our ongoing campaigns. This ensures your child is familiar with our focus on fairness, teamwork, and cooperative learning. Adventure Overview Welcome to Baldur’s Gate! 🌟 A city of ambition and corruption, your young adventurer will start their journey here, entangled in a plot stretching from the shadows of Baldur’s Gate to the epic Blood War! Can they outwit the archdevil Zariel and navigate the treacherous Nine Hells? 🔥😈 Our subscription-based courses welcome students whenever space is available and prerequisites are met. Campaigns start at level one but will present challenges of various levels. The instructor will guide students on character requirements. Student Expectations Students must embrace our philosophy: RPGs are team-based, inclusive, and supportive. Helping each other in and out of the game is crucial. Any negative behavior could result in removal without refund, at the discretion of the DM and head teacher, Adam Scott. New to RPGs? Role-playing games put your child in the heart of the story! Their choices shape the plot, developing problem-solving, team-building, and social skills— all while having a blast! 🎉🗡️ Who Will Love This Class? 1) Kids who know the basics of D&D and can create or choose a character. 2) Those eager to explore worlds, discover new places, and make tough decisions. 3) Budding storytellers who enjoy interacting with unique characters. 4) Team players ready to solve problems and have fun together. Our adventures unfold in an ongoing world, with weekly updates from the DM. Note on Late Arrivals: Late arrivals may disrupt the session. If your child is late, they might need to wait for a non-disruptive moment to join or until the next session. Refunds are at the instructor's discretion. Please inform us of any scheduling or tech issues in advance. Ready for the adventure? Let’s roll! 🏰🎲 Note to parents/students: Some students may wish to use D&D Beyond for their character sheet. Account set up needs to happen before the session begins. The age recommendation for DNDBeyond.com is 13 years old and parents may use their email account to sign up their student for this account at their discretion. Families who do not wish to use DNDBeyond.com will be provided a selection of pregenerated characters from which to choose upon sign up and are still more than welcome to sign up for the course!
學習目標
Students will get to experience all that a roleplaying game has too offer: teamwork, problem solving, social interaction, and basic statistical calculations. Through the process of playing, their characters will develop and evolve, leading to discussions with the instructor and other players about applying skills in a game setting.
其他詳情
父母的引導和規範
This adventure deals directly with the players descending into the first layer of Hell. They will fight, negotiate, and interact regularly with evil and immoral creatures. While descriptions and subject matter are age appropriate, these themes require a more mature learner.
Role-playing games offer a creative "sandbox" in which participants can engage in imaginative problem solving. Fantasy violence will not be directly depicted, but the possibilities of this within the game will be discussed. Students may wish to explore ideas related to their characters that involve in-game "weapons" and "spells" for the use of "in-game" violence.
供應清單
Students will need to come to the first session with a level one character. This character can be pregenerated or custom created. To keep things manageable, students are asked to limit their characters to races and classes found in the Player Handbook + One other resource. A link to pregenerated characters is included for student reference.

The founder of The DnD Club, Adam Scott, has been a professional classroom teacher his entire career, and playing role-playing games since he was 10 years old. In addition to his teaching experience, he believes each class should put the students at the center of learning, minimizing lecture and encouraging interaction. The DnD Club has organized and taught groups of Dungeons and Dragons for hundreds of students and community members, running games professionally for private clients with children between 10-15 years old. We want you to live your adventure.
It's our mission that your child feels empowered and excited after this lesson, sparking a lifelong interest in a wonderful activity.
