I guide students step-by-step from beginner basics all the way to confident drumming. We start by laying a solid foundation—understanding rhythm using fun word patterns, tapping out beats, and moving to music so it really ‘sticks.’ As they progress, I introduce new challenges at just the right pace, making sure they feel confident before moving on. My video lessons also help them practice at home between sessions, reinforcing what we learn together. Throughout the process, I tailor everything to each child’s unique learning style and needs, making it a fun and positive experience. Students will learn basic drumming rhythm while strengthening your vocabulary. Students can use hand clapping, pots and pans with a wooden spoon, any other type of percussion.

About Rob
Rob has extensive performance experience across the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has collaborated with top performing artists such as Henri Mancini, Carmen and Camille, Harry Kim, Bob Mintzer, George Garzone, The U.S. Army Jazz Guardians, Grammy Awards performances, and Dave Liebman, which is a testament to his musical prowess. These experiences have equipped Rob with the tools and knowledge to guide the next generation of drum and percussion students.
Rob has been teaching drum lessons for over 30 years. He has over 3,000 hours of online drum lesson experience, which has developed an authentic and time-tested virtual learning method. Rob's teaching studio has educational software, three drum sets, six camera angles, and excellent studio-quality sound.
Rob teaches the foundations needed to be a successful student, and each lesson will be carefully crafted to fit each student's learning style. "Music is the storybook of our lives, and I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals."
