Student will create four drawings of the human figure. 
Student will create four drawings that may include the following drawing techniques: shading, sketching, line variety, hatching or cross-hatching. 
Student will demonstrate knowledge of proportion, gesture or expression through drawing.

I am a certified K-12 art educator as well as a professional artist and illustrator.

As this is a FLEX class, learners are encouraged to watch videos and complete drawing assignments within the four week period.

Instructor will provide informal assessment in the form of written message. Feedback will be specific to learner's ability and level, and will center around art vocabulary and concepts (shape, proportion, value, gesture, shading). Please note that as the instructor I do not expect students to copy the instructor's example, but rather to follow the process and draw according to their own level and ability.
