In this course students will meet via video with teacher and classmates. Each 30 minute class session will consist of introduction to that days topic, fun facts about an ocean species, “how to draw”, and time to share what we’ve drawn. Day 1: introductions, drawing self portrait, drawing home, drawing favorite fish or imagined sea creature and time to share- getting to know our classmates Day 2: learn fun facts about 1-2 species, break down of how to draw those species, time to share what we’ve drawn. Day 3: learn fun facts about 1-2 species, break down of how to draw those species, time to share what we’ve drawn. Day 4: learn fun facts about 1-2 species, break down of how to draw those species, time to share what we’ve drawn. Day 5: learn fun facts about 1-2 species, break down of how to draw those species, time to share what we’ve drawn. Day 6: learn fun facts about 1-2 species, break down of how to draw those species, time to share what we’ve drawn. Day 7: learn fun facts about 1-2 species, break down of how to draw those species, time to share what we’ve drawn. Day 8: brainstorm an imagined sea creature, create your own sea creature, Time to share your sea creature We will cover a handful of small reef fish, deep sea fish and crustaceans! Learning how to draw these species will be done step by step each day.

My name is Aspen, you can call me Ms. or Ms. Aspen. I am filled with enthusiasm to tell you I am here to get creative through writing, art and conservation& sustainability courses. I also have a professional background in health and fitness and would be happy to offer courses in that area when interests is expressed.

Something fun to know about me, is that I found the fire that excites me, actually, I found a few of them! One has driven my career choices and the other simply brings me daily happiness, and that is surfing. So if you ever notice my hair is a wet bun on top of my head during class, it’s just a reminder to find what you love and do it each and every day, and for me that is to surf.
