繪畫 - 混合媒體藝術探索（正在進行中）

Mix media artworks are fun and perfect for young artists because they can enjoy combining the use of different art mediums and also learning the qualities of each of them. 

In this Ongoing class, we will create a mix media artwork in each meeting. We will start by looking at some visuals and learning some basic art theories related to the topic. Then learners will sketch out a simple drawing on their paper, and apply colours allow with teacher's step-by-step demonstration. We will have a quick experiment section to understand the characteristics the materials; then utilize the skills in the final artwork. At the end of the section, students will be encouraged to share their artwork with the class; so they can learn from each other and celebrate their success. 
 
The topics that will be learned in this class:
*simple perspective in art (Foreground, middle-ground, background)
*water-resist vs washable materials
*blending colours to create a gradient
*experiment with different art mediums; risk-taking and decision-making in the creative process.
*develop self-confidence in their unique creativity.
*Students can develop their unique style.

- April 29 - May 5: Arctic Animals - Pastels on Colour paper
- May 6 - 12: Rainbow Cactus - Watercolour Blending and markers
- May 13 - 19: the Reflection on a Lake - Fun painting with watercolour (No Meeting on May 19)
- May 20 - 26: Cake and Pastry - Application of 3D shapes drawing (No Meeting on May 22)
- May 27 - June 2: Watercolour painting of a bird
- June 3 - 9: Flower Garden - Oil pastels & markers
**NEW cycle begins with repeating topics
- June 10 - 16: Cityscape Pop Art - permanent markers and washable markers
- June 17 - 23: Animal in a Tree Hole - limited colours paint on brown paper/cereals box
- June 24 - 30: Rocket in Space - pastels on black paper


*This is an ongoing class; welcome to join in and/or withdraw from the class at any time. 
Topics will be updated from time to time and might loop/repeat: 
**The teacher will use a second camera to display clearly with the drawing demonstration.
**The level of completion on the drawings will vary from each lesson and mainly depends on the learners' drawing speed. 
**Students might need to spend some time after class to complete colouring their artwork.
