In this class, your student will learn basic drawing skills by breaking down every day subjects into basic shapes. We will put these techniques into practice with everything from buildings, to still life, and even the human form. The structure of this class will flow back and forth between instruction and application to keep students engaged. We will discuss things like perspective, proportion, and composition as well as how to use different drawing tools. By the end of the class, your student will have the foundational skills to draw whatever subject they choose.

I have been a professional artist and painting instructor for the past 3 years, although I've been creating art my entire life. I believe that every person is an artist and have their own unique creative expression. My goal is to bring out that creativity in a fun and low stress environment. My focus is not on accuracy, but on art for the sake of enjoyment. Students will learn principles and techniques that will help them reach their goals, and encouragement to enjoy the process, even when it doesn't work out the way they expected.評論
