Students will get 10 video drawing lessons and one bonus choice video at the end of class. Weekly lessons: Each week, I will have two projects planned, and students will have two video lessons to go with our magical animal theme. This is a flexible class, so students may work on projects when it works for their schedule. See the schedule for each topic. I will use watercolors, pencils, a micron pen, graphite pencils, and a blender stump for shading. Week 1: Bowtruckle & Pixie - Pencil shading and drawing by the shape of the creature. - Watercolor pencil and painting techniques. -Magical qualities of the Bowtruckle and the Pixie. Week 2: Phoenix & Basilisk - Working on legs, wings, and limbs to make them realistic. - Use micron pen ink to add detail. -Magical qualities of the Phoenix & the Basilisk Week 3: Occamy & Niffler - Working on feathers and fur to make them realistic. - Shading with a blending stump. -Magical qualities of the Niffler. Week 4: Wings of Fire Dragons Wings of Fire- Rain wing & Wings of Fire-Leafwing - Working on eye shape, details, and ears. -Adaptations of the dragons and adding scales. Week 5: Unicorn/Pegasus - Working on legs and limbs to make them realistic. -Magical qualities of the Unicorn and the Pegasus. Week 6: Choose one bonus video as well for the last week: I will share drawings of all of these creatures. You can choose to draw as many as you would like. Bonus animals...Hippocampus, Yeti, Mermaid, Griffin, Hydra, WOF Silkwing I am skilled at differentiating content for many ages and learning needs in a kind and supportive style.
