課堂經歷
In this camp, we will meet once a day for one week to explore the basics of drawing anime & manga style characters. The breakdown for each day is listed below. Each day will include instruction from the teacher, time for students to practice and experiment with the material, and time to share student work at the end of class. Students are encouraged, but not required, to share their drawings. Day 1: Faces. On day 1, we will introduce ourselves and talk about our favorite anime & manga. Then...
Pencil Eraser (I recommend a kneaded eraser, but any eraser will work) Plain paper Ruler (Ideally rectangular shaped, not a protractor)
Please note that for days 2 and 3 we will be drawing the outline of a human body without clothing, with the intention that students may add clothing later outside of class. While we will draw simple lines to convey essential parts of the body (such as the curve of the chest), we will NOT be drawing any intimate details or genitalia within the outline. We will essentially be drawing the body with the same amount (or lack of) detail as an unclothed Barbie doll. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me before class.
