This is the 4th episode in the Dragonology Adventure Quest series. Adventure Quest classes consist of cross curricular elements interwoven through an episodic storyline. Learners will add the “meat to the bones” of the adventure as they create the story together. Although each of the sections/episodes can stand alone, and learners can enter the cycle at any point, many learners enjoy following the chronological path of the story (see end of description for the chronological order) Although...
Students will explore the given circumstances of the world created by Tui T Sutherland by concepting and exploring a prompt inspired by the Dragonet Prophecy. Fans of the series will create their own interactive story prompted by a time period not covered by the Wings of Fire series. Learners will use teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, communication, decision making, reading comprehension, code cracking, writing, imagination, and pattern recognition throughout this course. No additional craft supplies are required, although projects will be suggested between sessions, materials for these projects are flexible and allow learners to use whatever materials they have on hand. Paper and writing utensils will be used during class to work through challenges and take notes. Many sessions will be guided by a shared document in the Google Suite, but learners will not need their own google access/account to participate.
