These books are well known and are great at keeping a young readers interest. In this class, students will read the book prior to class and will discuss the book in class. - Students will increase in reading comprehension skills, fluency, and flow of reading, by reading each book and discussing it in our class.
I have an Associate Degree in Arts from Hopkinsville Community College and am currently attending the University of Western Kentucky to obtain my bachelor's degree in health sciences. I own an art gallery and have been an artist for over 20 years. I have worked with kids for most of my life. Awarded most outstanding camp counselor at Oakland City camp best friends in Atlanta, Georgia. I have written and published many children's books as well.

Supports unique learning needs by offering: - A small group setting -Multisensory techniques (visual aids, auditory cues etc.) -Social and emotional support - Structured routines
Basic knowledge of sight words, vowel sounds and phrases.
Copy of book for each week to read. Students may create a craft and additional supplies are needed. Such as glue, scissors, coloring pencils/pens/crayons and construction paper.
