DIY Montessori-On-Demand: Using Our Senses | Sight | Part 2, builds and grows your learner's sensory development through Montessori principles.  This self-paced class builds your child's sensory exploration skills, focusing on developing their stereognostic sense—the ability to recognize and understand objects through touch alone.

In this enlightening and interactive course, you will delve into the Montessori approach to sensory education, with a specific emphasis on developing visual perception. The class will guide you through activities aimed at helping children recognize and name colours, as well as compare and sort objects based on size and dimension.  This course is designed to equip children with practical strategies for nurturing sense of sight, focusing on key aspects such as colour recognition and size discrimination. These foundational skills are crucial for building a child’s ability to observe and interpret their surroundings, setting the stage for more advanced cognitive and spatial understanding.

The course is thoughtfully organized into weekly segments, each targeting specific visual learning outcomes. Each unit is presented through detailed video tutorials that outline the purpose of the activity, the materials required, and the step-by-step process. To support our teaching, videos are paired with printable resources, providing a convenient alternative to traditional Montessori materials. Presenter tips throughout the videos offer additional insights and practical advice to ensure the activities are engaging and effective.

Our videos demonstrate how to create Montessori materials using common supplies, eliminating the need to purchase additional resources. Students are highly encouraged to actively participate by reviewing the class content and applying Montessori methods at home, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning experience that deepens understanding and engagement.

The self-paced format allows you to progress through the course at your own speed, fitting learning into your schedule while enjoying dynamic and interactive exercises.
