-This class will focus on 3rd/4th grade mathematics (N.Y.S. standards). This class is best for students who will be in 4th grade in September, but it is open to rising 3rd grade or 5th graders. This class is taught in July and August only. 

-Class topics: Multiplication (Area Models, Partial Products)
Division (Long Division)
Addition (Multi-Digit Numbers)
Subtraction (Multi-Digit Numbers, Subtraction Across 0's)
Place Value (Up to One Million)
-Fractions (Equivalence, Adding and Subtracting, Multiplying by Whole Numbers)
-Geometry (Angles)

-The class will be structured: teacher instruction, student practice, guided practice with teacher, partner work (when applicable), math game to end the class. Students will be encouraged to participate with audio and/or chat.
