We will explore some physical science, have some "maker space" to make a car, and I will show you some simple, fun Cars-themed snacks for you to share with your family the next time you watch the movie together. Be ready to put your car to the test and see if modifications really make a difference.

Raid your recycling bin! Use whatever you can find for our Maker Space time! Car body ideas: toilet paper rolls, cardboard, popsicle sticks, etc. Wheel ideas: 4 large buttons, botttle caps, cardboard, lids, Axel ideas: a plastic straw, wire twisty-ties (bread bag closures), rubber bands, sticks, Something to use as a ramp. basic art supplies (scissors, markers, liquid glue or glue sticks, crayons, etc.) *optional with parent support: hot glue gun I will supply recipes and instructions for Cars-themed snacks to make on your own time.
