In this 30-minute, fun-filled class, students will engage in a weekly read-aloud storytime that will promote reading comprehension and listening skills in a fresh and exciting environment. Each class, we will go over five to ten new 'sight-words' that we heard in the story. The class will learn these new vocabulary words together by spelling, acting the word out, and giving examples of the word both from the story and real life. Students will also explore their creativity with a corresponding coloring activity, following the story's happily ever after. Please see below for our course schedule: Week One: Frozen Week Two: Sleeping Beauty Week Three: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Week Four: Beauty and The Beast Week Five: Pocahontas Week Six: Moana Week Seven: Mulan Week Eight: The Little Mermaid **The coloring pages you will need each week will be made available upon enrollment, in the classroom page.** Students will be able to: - Meet new friends and share their favorite princesses - Learn about positive character traits of their favorite characters - Practice being engaged while listening to a story - Develop their Reading Comprehension - Enhance and Improve their Fluency - Perfect their Listening Skills - Explore and Grow their Artistic Talents - Expand and Improve their Vocabulary and Literary Fluency

Miss Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Psychology from Florida State University.
