In this fun, interactive class, students will listen to one of my all time favorite books "Can I Have a Stegosaurus Mom? Can I Please?" I will need help from the students to read the repetitive lines. The pictures from the book will be visible on the screen. This entertaining story is about a boy who tries to convince his mom to get him a pet dinosaur. We will talk about the advantages of having a dinosaur as a pet. Please bring your dinosaur toys. We will discuss - Which dinosaur would make the best pet? What can it help you do? This class is designed to be fun and interactive. I have permission from Scholastic to use this book on a closed platform like Outschool.

I have a master's degree in School Psychology. I've worked as a School Psychologist with kids ages 3 - 18 in public and parochial schools for over 21 years. I've worked with students who struggle with learning and who have behavioral and mental health needs.
I've also been an online teacher for over four years, teaching English to students in China and other parts of the world. I'm familiar with the convenience and limitations of the online learning experience. I encourage discussion in my classroom.
