We will study one dinosaur and then learn to draw it per directed drawing session (**There is a live version of this class available if you are interested) What is Directed Drawing? Directed drawing is a step by step approach at drawing for beginners. Students will follow step by step directions to create a unique masterpiece How to draw a Triceratops , Pterodactyl, a Stegosaurus, and a Tyrannosaurus Rex! 4 lessons//4 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1TriceratopsGuiding learners through a drawing of triceratops while including some fun fact and background elements.Week 2Lesson 2PterodactylGuiding learners through a drawing of Pterodactyl while including some fun fact and background elements.Week 3Lesson 3StegosaurusGuiding learners through a drawing of Stegosaurus while including some fun fact and background elements.Week 4Lesson 4Tyrannosaurus RexGuiding learners through a drawing of the king of dinosaurs ... the Tyrannosaurus Rex while including some fun fact and background elements.
Students will learn and practice : 1. The importance of following directions 2. Spacial awareness 3. Shapes 4. Size 5. Creativity! (each learner will follow the same directions, however no one drawing will look the same!)
-A hand out will be provided after class to go over the directed-drawing steps (for future use) as well as a personalized original certificate of completion ( please allow 24 hours to receive these documents , after the final class) -A sheet of paper -A pencil -An eraser -Crayons, coloured pencils or markers
