課堂經歷
Each week of this on going class will feature a different dinosaur. Students are encourages to bring an example (toy or stuffy) of the featured dinosaur to class. Learners will be given the opportunity to share about their dinosaur and/or facts about the week's featured dinosaur. Students will also be led in a craft or drawing project of the week's featured dinosaur. Week 1 - Stegosaurus - directed drawing (Thursday, April 29) Week 2 - Brontosaurus - pasta skeleton (Thursday, May 6) Week 3- T-rex - directed drawing (Thursday, May 13) Week 4 - Ankylosaurs - balloon craft (Thursday, May 20) Week 5 - Triceratops - directed drawing (Thursday, May 27) Week 6 - Parasaurolophus - directed drawing (Thursday, June 3)

Students will sharpen communication skills through sharing as well as fine motor skills through drawing.

Hello, I am Hope Brown. I have been teaching professionally and voluntarily for more than 30 years. My teaching experience includes homeschooling three of my four children, two of our six grandchildren, as well as many children in our homeschool co-ops. I have also been a scout leader with Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, and American Heritage Girls for nineteen years. Teaching children is my passion and I love to teach on a wide range of topics from cooking over an open fire to historical figures of the Civil War. I believe that children learn best when they are involved in what they are learning through interactive classes and hands on projects. I look forward to seeing you in class.評論
