Welcome to Digital Game Design with Bloxels, the perfect program for budding game designers in grades 2-4! In this course, participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of video game development and design their own games using kid-friendly developer tools. The course will run for 5 days, with 3-hour long class meetings, and will be delivered in a student-centered learning environment, where collaborative projects are highly encouraged. They also practice their story telling skills. Along the way, they practice the 4Cs of communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking on their journey to becoming fluent digital creators. We will provide you with an account.
