課堂經歷
In this class, learners will create a floor plan and a two-point perspective sketch and design a dream bedroom. They will then research items for their room and create a design presentation board. Skills learned are Class 1. Design layout, floor plan, Scale Drawing, Elevations, and room flow. Homework- collecting images or sample items for their room. Class 2 Two-point perspective, Interior Design sketching. Homework- collecting images or sample items for their room. Class 3. Transferring the drawing to multimedia paper and using pen, watercolor, and colored pencils to color their sketch. Class 4. Design layout and principles of design for a presentation board. Color theory will be taught to choose a color scheme for their room. This class will be a live demonstration class with handouts. I will draw, demonstrate skills live and have them follow step by step. The students will add their own design elements and create their own unique room. The students will need to do self-research for homework to find unique items for their room and print out images for the board.

We teach anything art, creativity, and design. From beginning Sketching to advance techniques. Art is learning how to see and use a basic skill toolbox. Once you learn these things anyone can add your style and become an artist or designer. Our drawing classes focus on confidence build and skill development. We work with the students to help them feel good about whatever level of drawing/creating they are at. Good just comes with time and practice. Confidence and enjoyment are the key components to creating fun, and sometimes great art. All of our classes are stand-alone lessons that any student from any level is welcome to join. Our goal isn't to build fantastic drawings everytime, but to practice hand-eye coordination and a positive mindset while drawing.
We offer classes from Nicholas Gillett an amazing professional Graphic Designer of 15 years and all around artist. He has worked independently and in-house at major design firms. He has designed everything in the print world from logos to posters. He is a brilliant creative mind and makes amazing art out of found objects. He adds a fun quirky energetic approach to learning art.
Sheri Gillett has been an Industrial designer for 35 plus years. You may have used a product I designed! I have won 5 major design awards and have over 55 patents. I have a BA in Design and an MS in CTE Education. She taught Industrial Design, Art, Architecture, and Graphic Design at the high school and college levels. I love hands-on learning and project-based learning. If a student is engaged, motivated, and excited they can make great things! she loves to collect odd things and create something amazing out of them.評論
