In this ongoing weekly class, we will meet 2 times per week.  The class size is purposefully small to increase participation.  Each class will be devoted to a letter of the alphabet (sometimes 2 letters).  I aim to get through the alphabet every 12 weeks.  Please join on a weekly basis or choose a week that includes letters your child could use extra support. 
I will use music, movement, rhymes, and hand gestures to help with retention and keep the children engaged.  
The class will begin with a welcome song and introduction song so everyone can hear their name and feel engaged.
I will introduce the upper and lower case letter of the day and it's sound using 2D visuals and tactile cues. 
We will practice writing the letter in the air using a fun rhyme and/or rhythm.
I will expose the children to vocabulary that begins with the letter of the day and then use some of those vocabulary words in our songs.
I will teach the children 1-3 songs practicing letter sounds and cues or hand movements along the way.  We will perform them together as a group and then each child will have the option to perform one or more songs for their classmates.
The class will end with a review of the letter of the day. If time allows the Alphabet Song and Good-byes! 

I will be teaching the letters in alphabetical order.  Join any time as the sequence of letters will continue and repeat every 12 weeks.
