Do you LOVE fun MOVIES? Maybe you and your friends enjoy making up dances together and you want to learn some new moves! Week 1Lesson 1Can't Stop the Feeling- TrollsWarm-up Video: Posted the beginning of the session. Learners can use it to warm-up each week before learning the dance routine. Can't Stop the Feeling- Let's dance to this upbeat song from the TROLLS movie!Week 2Lesson 2We Don't Talk About Bruno- EncantoWe Don't Talk About Bruno-Let's learn some dance moves to this fun song from ENCANTO!Week 3Lesson 3Could Have Been Me- Sing 2Could Have Been Me- This is another upbeat song coming to you from the movie Sing 2! It's sure to get you motivated to move and learn some new dance moves!Week 4Lesson 4Into the Unknown- Frozen IILet's dance to the opening song from FROZEN II!
Your child will learn basic dance moves while practicing musicality and listening skills. Dance movements are excellent for improving mobility, balance and coordination! Dance helps with focus, discipline and listening skills. Learners will be able to get up and move while practicing dance skills to fun, upbeat music!
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dance Performance with a minor in Health Education. In addition, I have been teaching and doing choreography for over 15 years. I was a background dancer in Disney's High School Musical 2. I have worked with all ages teaching ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance and have done the choreography for many musical productions and groups.

Please provide a safe space for your child to learn. Do not have class on a slippery floor or where things can be bumped or broken. *Wear comfortable clothes! *You may want a water bottle nearby for a quick water break. *Choreography learned will be created originally by the instructor but inspired by the movie. *Dance experience is helpful but not required for this class. *This class has a flexible age range. Moves are basic but may be fast and require a bit of practice. *This class is pre-recorded videos. One video will be posted per week. Learners can message the teacher and ask questions to interact and receive feedback. *Pre-recorded Classes are great for busy schedules as you can do them at a time that is best for your schedule. You can also pause and go back if you need a step repeated or more time to practice each part of the dance.
