Does your child know their letter sounds? Wanting to know what comes next? CVC words! Once a child knows their 26 letter sounds, they are ready to build and read CVC words. CVC words are three letter words in the format - Consonant, Vowel, Consonant. In this 5 day class, we will learn and read CVC words. Day 1: Short A words Day 2: Short E words Day 3: Short I words Day 4: Short O words Day 5: Short U words How will the class be structured? 1) Review of vowel sound - song 2) Practice reading words 3) Practice building words 4) Practice writing words 5) Bonus Game as an incentive for focus (Depends on pace of class) After each class, you will receive a printable activity for your child to complete to practice what they’ve learned.
