Welcome to the Mindfulness and Self-Love Techniques class! This 35-minute live session is designed to help youth develop essential skills for managing emotions, boosting self-esteem, and building confidence. Throughout the class, we will explore topics such as emotional regulation, mindfulness, and strategies for staying calm and focused. The class will begin with a check-in that outlines the topic for the class, followed by an interactive exercise, which may include thought-provoking questions, group activities, mindfulness practices, or even art projects. I will guide the class using an open and supportive approach, fostering a space for meaningful interaction. My teaching style incorporates psychoeducation, demonstration, and hands-on activities, ensuring learners actively engage in the process. The main objective of this session is to equip youth with practical tools to cope with stress and emotional challenges. By combining discussion, games, and mindfulness techniques, learners will gain the confidence and resilience needed to manage difficult emotions and thrive in their daily lives. This class is not designed to provide therapeutic support or facilitate therapeutic outcomes. While it may offer valuable learning experiences, it does not substitute for individualized or group therapy, or professional counseling. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!

While not expected, it is important to be aware that mindfulness techniques may bring unwarranted emotions that may result in aspects of increased anxiety or present symptoms. Mindfulness involves a lot of physical awareness of symptoms.
