Cubism can be tricky to understand. For children they quickly use their imaginations to interpret art and love to create images into geometric forms. We will start the class with introductions and a reminder of how to take turns in the ZOOM classroom. The list of materials will be gone over to insure all learners are prepared. We will discuss the artist Georges Braque and look at one of his Cubist creations, 'Violin and Sheet Music'. Step by step instructions will be given with room for the...

I have been teaching children from ages birth to young teens for 30 years. My degree is in Studio Art and I'm certified in Early Childhood Education. I taught 3 year old preschool classes, first grade at international schools overseas, and I was a nanny for the same family for 22 years. My whole career has been centered on working with children and I have incorporated my passion for art throughout that whole time.
