Students LOVE writing about horses in this class! Note: Learners can join at any time (as it is on-going). Some knowledge of horses is an asset in this class. This small group learning environment pairs students' interest in horses with developing writing skills. I am a certified and experienced English and History teacher (20 years in a classroom) and I have owned and ridden horses most of my life. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an equestrian coach. I have taught creative writing for many years and have had some work published myself. Many of my students have had their creative pieces published and have won writing awards.
