DESCRIPTION We will begin by reviewing the power of personification, point of view, and sensory detail. Then learners will follow creative prompts to write about a one of a kind creature, and so will I. YES! I write poems with my learners! Then, learners can read it out loud for the group. If anyone would like extra feedback, they can submit their poems to me for my comments. This class will be a mix of instructor knowledge and tips through slides, students interacting with each other, and...
Students will enjoy creating a completely original mythical creature using poetic techniques to make them come alive.
Students will need paper and a pencil or the ability to open a blank document on their computer.
