What better way to write what you know than to write about yourself?  But how well do you know yourself?  This writing course will encourage both reluctant and inspired writers to think deeply and communicate clearly.    In the process, students will improve their understanding of the six traits of writing: ideas, organization, voice, sentence fluency, word choice, and conventions. 

Students interact with other students and the teacher via weekly discussion forums & activities.  Students will post weekly writing assignments that the  teacher  will review with comments and suggestions each week. 

Online learners will engage in interactive online lessons and weekly assessments or assignments. Students have one week to complete the weekly lesson activities.  This class runs “asynchronously” (participants to do not need to be online at a specific time each week); however it is not self-paced. Assignments are due every Sunday night.
