Students will learn how atoms are structured. They will leanr how the electricty within the atoms allows for bonds to be made creating various molecules. Students will use the Scientific Method to perform many experiments that will strengthen their understaning of atoms and molecules in our world and how they behave. Students will see and sometimes create models of various molecules. 

I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with 29 years of teaching experience and training.

Some experiments may take longer than just the 45 minute class period. These longer experiments will be finished at home with the conclusions discussed at the beginning of the next lesson. Occasionally supplies will be needed or printables cut out before class. The teacher will be sure to notify families of these needs in time to prepare for the next lesson.
