Generative AI for Teens: 8-Week Course Syllabus Course Overview This hands-on course introduces teens to the exciting world of generative AI, focusing on how to create images and videos using text prompts. Students will explore how AI can transform creativity while developing skills to consistently achieve the results they want. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and creativity! Course Goals: Understand how generative AI creates images and videos from prompts. Learn effective prompting techniques for consistent results. Explore ethical considerations and real-world applications of AI. Create a personal portfolio of AI-generated work by the end of the course.

As a parent of a child with dyslexia and ADHD, I am well aware of the needs many students will need. I will support each student with their unique needs. Generative AI does require entering text based prompts - but we can use voice to text.
