以火之翼系列為靈感打造WOF OC龍（創意寫作）

Learners will have a fun and exciting opportunity to design their very own unique dragon character, called an OC (Original Character), inspired by the popular "Wings of Fire" book series written by Tui T. Sutherland. They will use easy prompts based on basic fantasy story elements to help them create their fascinating dragon character.

In this One-time Creative Writing Class, Learners will explore the world of creative writing techniques to build and create the ultimate dragon and a short story inspired by the "Wings of Fire" Series by Tui T. Sutherland. They will learn what is needed to create a fantasy story using basic story elements such as characters, plot, conflict, theme, and settings. We will focus on Creating an OC (Original Character) with Character Traits and Characterization and telling it's story. Fantasy Storytelling is so much fun and it is my goal to have each learners use their imaginations to create an interesting but fascinating dragon character.

Class Structure:
- < 1 minute - Introduction - I will say hello and welcome all students
- < 1 minute - Class rules & Check for supplies
-  2 minutes - Ice breaker - Favorite WOF character and why?
- 10 minutes - Discussion on Characterization related to Fantasy Stories
- 20 minutes - Writing time* -  Students will begin creating OC Dragon  (Build-A-Character) and brainstorm ideas for a short story that includes their OC.
- 5 minutes - Students will share their Dragon Characters  and story idea (optional)** 
- >1 minutes - Conclusion - Goodbyes to Students and Encourage them to finish writing their story.
* During writing time, I will answer questions, provide help, & feedback as needed.

Class materials needed:
Any Journal, Notebook, or composition notebook can be used. Students can also use Loose Leaf paper or use Digital Notebook/tablet to write. A pen or pencil is also needed. I will also provide an optional resource worksheet on building a character for download.
