If you have a garden, you may have fairies! And if you may have fairies, they may need a place to rest! In this class, you will design and create beautiful enchanted fairy furniture for those lucky fairies that visit your flowers. Using natural materials you can easily find in your yard and a glue gun, add in your imagination and we can create sculptures and furniture out of twigs and sticks! In this class, you will learn how to design a miniature piece of furniture for a fairy. We will...
Students will learn- -How to handle a glue gun, manual dexterity -How to construct a 3-D stable table or chair -How to work with natural elements -How to Design their own furniture -How to using their imagination for ideas-Brainstorming
This class will use easy to find materials in your home and backyard. We will use- -Collected dry twigs and sticks from outside (Please collect beforehand and have ready. Twigs should be thin and easy to cut) -Glue gun with glue sticks -Scissors or cutting tool to cut sticks. I've found regular scissors work fine if twigs are small enough. OPTIONAL to have for decoration and embellishment- -Dried vine with curls or interesting shapes -Fake flowers or leaves -Dried real flowers, reeds, bark or dried mosses -Crystals or rocks -Shells -Glass Beads -Colored wire, string or yarn
Students will be using a glue gun.
