課堂經歷
This jazz-style dance class is for beginning or beginning/intermediate dancers age looking to learn cool choreography to popular songs! Classes will begin with a warm up to increase mobility and flexibility. We will stretch to make sure our bodies are ready to move! We will work on strength building and incorporating new techniques such as relevés, jumps, turns, and kicks. There will be a dance to learn and an opportunity to practice fun choreography! Classes will begin with stretches the learners can continue to practice and gain flexibility outside of the class. We will also gain strength in our core, arms, and legs. We will work together on a dance combination. This class will help increase the student's coordination, body control, sense of rhythm, and balance.
Please make sure your learner takes the class in an open area where they will not accidentally kick something or put themselves in danger. Ideally, the space would not be slippery, but if it is a slippery surface, it is recommended to use non-stick socks or shoes. Parents and guardians should remain nearby to assist and prevent accidents. Having a water bottle nearby is ideal. If class is taken during warmer months, it is ideal to have an air conditioner or fan running to prevent overheating.
