In this one-time class, learners will create a cactus painting using acrylic paint. This beginner painting class is fun and engaging! This cactus art class is perfect for beginners! We will learn about symmetry as well as color theory in art. Learners will engage in an educational slideshow about symmetry as well as fun facts about cacti. Then, there will be a step-by-step demonstration for how to create a symmetrical cactus. Next, learners will draw their cactus and mix some of their own...
- Acrylic paint in the following colors: green, white, black and one more color of your choice - paint brush - Cup of water - Paint Palette (a paper plate works great) - Paper towel - Pencil and eraser
