Welcome to "Cooking for Kids - Simple and Delicious Dinners!" This ongoing culinary adventure is designed for young aspiring chefs aged 9-12, providing a dynamic and interactive environment to nurture essential kitchen skills, develop cooking proficiency, and instill a genuine love for the art of cooking.

Our unique format allows students to join the class at any time, making it perfect for all skill levels. Each week, we embark on a culinary journey, exploring a new and exciting recipe. From savory to sweet, our diverse menu ensures a well-rounded learning experience.

What sets this class apart is its flexibility and openness to learner suggestions. Students can actively participate in shaping the class content by suggesting recipes they'd like to learn, fostering a sense of ownership and creativity in the kitchen.

In addition to mastering the art of cooking, students will gain the satisfaction of creating homemade dinners that they can share with their families. We believe in the joy of sharing good food, and our young chefs will develop the skills to prepare delicious meals for their loved ones.

I understand the importance of dietary preferences and restrictions, and have a strong knowledge on ingredient substitutions to guarantee each recipe turns out just as delicious as the original. That's why I offer gluten, dairy, nut, and egg-free options for every recipe upon request ensuring that every young chef can fully engage in the cooking process and enjoy the delicious results. 

All ingredients will be posted one week ahead of class for students to prepare and shop for groceries. 

Considering the dynamic nature of our course, it's important to note that our sessions may not consistently conclude at the initially advertised end time. The class might wrap up a few minutes ahead of schedule or extend up to 15 minutes beyond. Numerous factors, including discussions, troubleshooting, addressing questions, and varying cooking times, contribute to the fluidity of the class duration. Your understanding and flexibility in accommodating these potential time variations are greatly appreciated as they enhance the overall learning experience.

In our cooking sessions, remember that safety comes first. Parental guidance is necessary because we'll be handling sharp tools, hot surfaces, and various kitchen equipment. Take extra care to avoid accidents and communicate any dietary considerations for a safe and enjoyable cooking experience for everyone involved.
