(Beginner Edition) ABOUT THE CLASS Colorful. That is the first word that comes to mind when we want to describe how emotions are expressed in Spanish. Generally speaking, this romance language offers a rather remarkable variety of ways to talk about emotions and feelings. From one-liners to completely structured sentences, there are so many options to choose from. While many phrases are related to particular situational contexts and are deeply rooted in culture, we can find some interesting and useful phrases to talk about emotions that can give any Spanish learner a smooth head start. As you know, most of our daily conversations usually start with “How are you?” So why not take a closer look at how we can respond to that question in Spanish. In this 30 min class students are going to learn how to express your emotions using the verb SENTIR. This lesson not only include some of the most commonly used words to describe emotions and moods in Spanish, it also reviews topics such as gender, and the verb "Sentir" in its conjugations and much more. Throughout the presentation, there are several interactive partner activities to encourage students to use the language. Some of the class vocabulary are: - Estoy de mal humor/ I'm in a bad mood - Estoy de buen humor / I'm in a good mood - Me siento triste / I'm sad - Me siento feliz/ I'm happy - Me siento enojado/a/I'm angry - ¿Cómo te sientes hoy?¿Por qué? All lesson and homework materials will be provided by the course instructor. Students will have access to the course syllabus once enrolled. The instructor also will post video recordings about the new topics, it will help the students to remember and practice what they learned in every class. Our curriculum is the perfect introduction for new students. Each series includes 12 high-quality, beautifully illustrated units for teachers to use in class for levels A1 - C2.
