Students will interact with the instructor and fellow students in a safe environment. We will chat and the instructor will provide feedback to each student on pronunciation, usage, and conversational meaning. I use Total Physical Response, acting out meaning, pictures, and movement to communicate meaning. Students feel safe and are encouraged constantly by the instructor. By the end of our session, students will be able to comfortably start and/or contribute to English conversations with friends and adults. Students will feel confident discussing various topics with friends. A conversation will no longer be difficult.
I have taught English for 12 years. Helping students feel safe and comfortable in trying new things is my specialty. Children often open up and take risks in their language learning because they know I love them and want to help them grow.
