This class is an ongoing format. Students will sketch a new bird every week. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. Students can join or leave the series any week. Prior attendance and knowledge of the subject is not required to attend. Each class will follow the step-by-step process: 1. They will concentrate on rendering the basic shapes of a bird in line only, then proceed to discover the various relationships between the lines, shapes and proportions of the bird. 2....
Students will sketch realistic birds using basic shapes and proportion techniques. They will learn basic color theory to blend color, apply shading and highlights. This will train beginners to develop observational drawing skills on the characteristics of different bird species.
