In this fun and interactive read aloud, Pre-K students will sing along as Pete the cat steps in all kinds of things, messing up his favorite white shoes. Students will be introduced to each color and color word and have the opportunity to individually demonstrate that they know each color. Students will work along with the teacher as they color their show handout that matches the colors in the story. We will learn/review: book title, front cover, back cover, author, illustrator and main...
Students will learn to identify colors and color words. Students will discuss colors with the teacher and fellow classmates. Students will learn to make predictions about what will happen in the story.
I am a kindergarten classroom teacher, and have also taught young learners online for 3 years. I have a passion for early childhood education, and believe that learning should be fun!
