課堂經歷
This class was inspired by student class requests. Students will be able to color their own pictures or color/draw on the screen during class. The teacher will provide "get to know you" questions and foster student interaction in this laid-back, comfortable time to socialize. Students can answer as many or as few questions as they desire. Student art work can be shown to others at the conclusion of the class. In this time when students are spending more time at home and less time socializing with peers, this class provides the social interaction that children seek. Perhaps you have some anxiety related to talking with new people? The teacher will support and create opportunities for you to find common interests with others in class.

I have a master's degree in School Psychology. I've worked as a School Psychologist with kids ages 3 - 18 in public and parochial schools for over 21 years. I've worked with students who struggle with learning and who have behavioral and mental health needs.
I've also been an online teacher for over four years, teaching English to students in China and other parts of the world. I'm familiar with the convenience and limitations of the online learning experience. I encourage discussion in my classroom.
