This is the LEVEL 2 Course for learners who have already taken our LEVEL 1 Code ROBLOX Minigames: Learn to Code, Publish and Play Cool Games With Friends! 

Designed for Boys & Girls Ages 8-14 Roblox is a creative game that encourages kids to make up their own mini-games fully customized with worlds, characters, and tools that make them unique. Learners are then allowed to share their games and play other creations thus helping them understand the creative process involved in video game design, Computer Science, and storytelling. 

Our unique approach with this program is to have kids learning how to CODE in a safe and controlled environment with other Roblox Fans and LIVE instructors who are experts in playing and coding mini-games. 

This multi-day class consists of a 6-week program where kids will code a different game per class meeting guided by our professional Computer Science Instructors in a fun and collaborative setting. In between Zoom meetings, kids will have the option to continue adding details to their coded Mini-games and personalize them even more. This LEVEL 2 course goes more in-depth with different coding commands and introduces Script coding, which is the same type of coding used by professional coders and game developers. Upon completion of this course, each child will get an Electronic Certificate of Achievement (PDF) highlighting the hours dedicated and concepts learned throughout the entire course.

Weekly Schedule:
Week 1: Review the basic concepts: Code Editor review, Practice Methods, Variables, If Statements Loops, Integers, booleans, and more. Practice Game: Snowclones!
Week 2: Introduction to Script coding. Practice Game: Goal in One!
Week 3: Script coding 2. Practice Game: Clean Slate!
Week 4: Roblox Studio Object Modeling and tools. Practice Game: Alien Attack!
Week 5: Roblox Studio Object Modeling and tools 2. Practice Game: Riddle Ruins!
Week 6: Bring your own game idea to life and map building. Roblox Studio practice and Script coding. Introduction to Level 3 Roblox coding program.

How is the class structured?
-Step-by-step directions guided by Live knowledgeable Instructors with backgrounds in Computer Science and Engineering.
-Social Interaction with kids from different parts of the world.
-Small group. Limited to 4 kids.
-Each class runs for 90 minutes. Additional work is optional in between class meetings.
-First code, then Play! Kids understand the concepts being taught to code their own game and then join the same server to play with their peers.

Using Roblox Studio and our proprietary Code Editor. Roblox Studio is available to download for free at roblox.com/create

Code Editor Access?
Access will be available during the class only. Students should use the same accounts created for them during the LEVEL 1 course.

Teaching Style?
Kids are taught in a friendly environment by encouraging them to use their imagination and collaborate with each other.

Any required experience or knowledge learners need?
Yes, learners enrolled in this course should have already completed the LEVEL 1 Course or any of our Roblox coding 5-day camps.

*IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS: 
LEVEL 1 Coding Course*
Children are required to have completed our LEVEL 1 Coding with Roblox Course or any of our 5-day Coding with Roblox Camp in order to be allowed to this class. Please make sure that your child has completed this requirement and that you still have his/her Code Editor access which begins with the letters ck + the name of the child. (Example: Name John Doe, account: ckjohnd)

Remote Control Access*
In order to ensure the proper class development, our instructors might ask to remote control your child's computer during some parts of the class to help him/her with any technical difficulty that might arise.
