課堂經歷

英語程度 - 未知
美國 3 - 5 年級
Whether your child is a struggling writer or one who loves to write, this one-time class is an excellent introduction to Fable - the first stage of classical writing.

During class, we will read the short fable "The Hare & the Tortoise." Then students will have an opportunity to "tell it back" to the class over Zoom. We will complete a class dictation to strengthen memory, attention, and writing mechanics. Then students will identify the beginning, middle, and the end of the fable. They will use this information to write a concise summary and moral for the story.

學習目標

Student will better understand the elements of narration and fables. Dictation and narration improve the student's attention and memory. Student will demonstrate the skill of conciseness through writing a fable summary.
