This class is for individual tuition for the clarinet, saxophone or recorder, suitable for students of all levels, from complete beginner to advanced. Topics within lessons can include learning how to read music, how to assemble and care for your instrument, how to play the full range of the instrument, as well as all techniques, and music theory. The learning goals within class are tailored to every students needs, depending on the outcome they wish to achieve. Students will have the opportunity to deepen their skill and knowledge of their instrument, music theory, and most importantly the joy, inspiration and love of music itself!
I began my musical journey by beginning the clarinet at 6 years old, this lead to me working though all of my grades, playing in bands and picking up the saxophone along the way! Once I realised I wanted to teach, I began my journey to complete my music degree, allowing me to then teach woodwind abroad within an international school. My teaching there consisted of class and one to one tuition of the clarinet, saxophone, flute and recorder. Sonce then I completed my PGCE and have continued to teach woodwind within the UK online, privately and within schools.
