Little Music for Mozarts and the adventures of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse continue in “Christmas Fun! Clara Schumann-Cat is having a Christmas Party.” Students will enjoy this Christmas story with its pictures, solos and musical theory pages, as Clara prepares for her party with a special guest…. Santa! 

❄️ Students can work through this class at their own pace.  Some will enjoy using it over four weeks with one lesson per week, while others may wish to make a holiday camp  (daily) out of it, you decide! ❄️ 

Each lesson will include Miss Lenora posting a video (about 15 minutes), along with the theory pages corresponding to the week’s lesson.   **Religious themes often associated with the holiday will not be discussed in this class.

❄️ Lesson One 
• Story Time
Each week begins with Miss Lenora telling the story as it weaves through each lesson.  
• Hanging the Garland Activity 
Miss Lenora will review rhythm patterns, quarter notes, half notes and whole notes and explain how to complete the activity page.
• Song:  Deck the Halls 
Miss Lenora will guide students though this song - “Deck the Halls with boughs of holly  Fa La La La La, La La La La, ‘Tis the season to be jolly Fa La La La La, La La La La!”

• Story Time
• Clara’s Musical Christmas Ornaments Activity
Miss Lenora will review musical signs of treble and bass clefs, and forte, piano, and mezzo forte signs and explain how to complete the activity. 
• Song:  A Christmas Waltz
Miss Lenora will guide students though this song - “This is my fav’rite time of year. Being with friends brings Christmas cheer.”

• Story Time
Presents for the Music Friends Activity
Miss Lenora will review the note names and placements for “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F” and “G” as students draw a line connecting each gift to its matching tag. 
• Song: I’m a Little Snowman
Miss Lenora will guide students through this darling song set to the tune of “I’m a Little Teapot”

• Story time
Review of concepts and songs learned
• Song:  We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Miss Lenora will guide students through this song.  “We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.”

**Is my child ready for this class?**
Miss Lenora will review and guide along the way, so no mastery of concepts is needed beforehand. Class is well suited for beginners and students who have been introduced to basic note names and music symbols such as treble and bass clef. 

Music for Little Mozarts is a music program specifically written for students at the preschool and kindergarten level. Singing plays an important role in early childhood music learning. Children can sing accurately at an early age!
