This book club will meet to read and discuss 3 book series. The 3 book series will include: The Pigeon (author Mo Willems) Pete the Cat (author James Dean) Oscar 'Start with Science' (author Geoff Waring) The book club will be structured to read 1 book per session. Content does not build. There will also be opportunities to discuss and ask questions about the book. Each book read will be placed on the screen so that students can follow along and see the book illustrations. The book club is meant to encourage students to read, understand what they are reading, strengthen comprehension skills, and promote an appreciation for literature and words. My teaching style is nurturing, engaging and fun-focused.

The books were vetted and chosen to ensure compliance with being age-appropriate for students age 8-12.
Topics included in the books include science concepts, engineering concepts, and fantasy animals/creatures.
