This class is designed to provide an introduction to advanced chemical reactions. Many topics will be covered over this 5-week class that will give the student a basic understanding of acid-base reactions and reduction-oxidation or “REDOX” reactions. I have taught chemistry and chemical engineering at the college level. I have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from M.I.T. and a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from North Carolina State University. I have been teaching all disciplines of science to home school elementary, middle and high school students for 14 years. I know how to present science in a fun way to boost students interest in the subject.
