課堂經歷
In this one-time class students will engage in Minecraft Chat with other like-minded players and answer "Would you Rather" Questions. Students will: make new friends, socialize with other Minecraft players while snacking on some goodies and having a good time. Class Flow: 1. Brief Introduction - Teacher will greet all students and ask an icebreaker question 2. Rules- One voice at a time , no *bumping* words, thumbs up if you agree, type comments into the chat, raise your hand if you would like to add one. 3. Teacher will begin to ask Questions & call students (at random each time, for fairness) to share their responses. 4. Students can make connections and interact with each other in between questions. 5. If given parent permission, students can add each other on Minecraft server (optional) 6. Bring some snacks; let's chat and snack!

Hello Parents and Students!
My name is Teacher Ileana. Welcome to My Outschool Teaching Space.
Back in 2020, I led many art classes and social clubs aimed towards building unity and community in the Outschool world. As of recent, I am now more focused on academic classes geared toward working with students to build confident readers and writers.
I have been an educator in the Department of Education for more than 8 years. However, I have been working with the youth (aged 3-18 years old) for more than 10 years. I have been an educational assistant, after-school and summer counselor, teacher's assistant, online ENL teacher and now a certified K-12 TESOL certified educator.
I tutor students in reading, math and writing online through other platforms as well.
I work hard to build positive relationships with students. In every class I focus on being personable, allowing opportunities for all students to be their authentic self and build their confidence.
In my class, students feel comfortable coming as they are, learning something new and leaving with a sense of confidence they should always strive for.
