In this ongoing class, students will learn about a different type of cat each week (bobcats, tigers, leopards, servals, lynx, etc...) The class will begin with a discussion about the cat of the week (physical characteristics, diet, habitat, fun facts.) This will be presented through a vibrant slide show. I will ask the students open-ended questions and encourage them to participate and collaborate with their classmates. Next, the students will participate in a group game, which varies each...

I am a certified early childhood and elementary school teacher. I taught science for 5 years.
The supply list will be posted in the classroom a week before the class. Examples of supplies needed include: Paper Pencils Markers/crayons/colored pencils Scissors Glue Tape Paint and paintbrushes If a student is missing supplies, they can still participate in class. I am always able to find alternatives! Week of May 12: Asian Golden Cat Supplies Needed: Paper A pencil and eraser Coloring materials
