Castles and history collide together as we venture into some amazing, historical castles in the United Kingdom. Your students will see what it was like to live in these amazing buildings and what stories they tell. Week 1: The Tower of London: the history, the stories, and why it is still loved today Week 2: Edinburgh Castle, Scotland: this amazing castle is one of Scotland's pride. Week 3: Kilkenny Castle, Ireland: why is the castle still important to the history of one family? Week 4: Buckingham Palace: from the building of this amazing home to its renovations, we will look at why this home is iconic to the world. We will look at the history of these amazing historic places to see why they meant so much to the people who once lived in them and some still today. Why the late Queen loved Scotland so much and how Buckingham Palace became the Royal home. *Classes are subject to change.
