You will use basic shapes and guidelines, you will see your cartoon images quickly emerge from the page with each stroke of the stylus. You will also explore how to give your drawings personalities and character through classic cartooning techniques to breathe life into your creations.

Our student-centered learning approach with collaborative projects will enable you to work with your friends on exciting and creative projects that combine traditional art with digital art. You will also review various art tools and use them to create exciting art projects.

Day 1: Introduction to Procreate and Cartooning and Anime

Day 2: Character Design Basics
- add more details to you characters
- Learning how to draw eyes and mouths 
    
Day 3: Add Expressions to your Character
- learn how expressions and emotions add to your characters
- Drawing expressions and exaggerations

Day 4: Body Types
- Body types
- Learning body shapes
- learn how to draw hands
- adding faces to line of motion to match expression 
- start a group project
    
Day 5: Work on a Group Project
- Character design group activity 
- applying everything learned from the previous classes
