Does your child enjoy the Captain Underpants or the Super Diaper Baby series? Well, this is the perfect class for them! In this one-time class, students will listen to short excerpts from the comic series. They will then be invited to share their favorite escapades. Students will then practice the following step-by-step directions as they draw Captain Underpants, Super Diaper Baby, Diaper Dog Harold, and George. I want to be certain that all students have time to complete at least 3 characters. Each student will be invited to share their fun drawings with the group. No drawing experience is necessary. The main focus of the group is socialization and sharing between readers who have a common passion. Please note - Depending on the number of students and their skill level, this class might end a few minutes early or run 5-10 minutes extra.

Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by.
I believe that learning should be fueled by joy and creativity. I find that students learn best when they are engaged in creative activities, conversation, and problem-solving with a teacher that they trust. I am known for my fun. interactive teaching style, I love to interject smiles and laughter into the classroom. Building confidence is the key to creating a successful learning environment so my classes are filled with positive encouragement.
I have a degree in Business Administration and Education with certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis. This education combined with my classroom, online, and homeschool experience provides me with the skills and experience to guide children to be successful.
My passions include art, writing, animals, traveling, and child growth and development. You will see these themes in the classes I teach.
I have 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren, they bring me joy! My grandchildren and their passions have provided me with some of my most fun class ideas.
I have spent the past 10 years traveling the world. I have trekked through the rainforest, swam with turtles, and enjoyed several of the wonders of the world. I have based many of my classes around these first-hand experiences.
Some fun facts about me:
I have a Havanese pup named Lola. Did you know that the Havanese breed is from Cuba and they used to be circus clowns for kings and queens? She is a riot!
I have been to Italy 11 times and I'm not even Italian!
I used to be a dental assistant so I love to go to the dentist!
I hope to see you in my classroom very soon!
